Christmas updates

Like an eager puppy I am easily distracted, and while there have been a few updates over the course of the year this has been the first one of note.

I have made two bulk additions: principally, I have collected and made available a number of the PowerPoint animations I use in my own lessons. I find these very helpful in assisting explanations on certain topics, and knowing how long it took me to make a number of them, thought that it might be useful to give them out and save other people the trouble. None of the animations can be used in isolation: all of them are designed to work in tandem with a fuller explanation, but I hope you may find them useful.

I've also taken a moment to categorise and link to the individual games on Mangahigh, so that you might find some gems you may not have been aware of.

Starting over

So after I started this project about a year and a half ago, I was sidetracked by another endeavour, filming revision videos for GCSE students. However, with that endeavour now completed (and going live on the Revision Box website), I can turn my attention back to this.

In the time that I was absent from OpenMaths, though, I still put plenty of thought into what needed doing, and as such have decided to start again so that it can all be organised more effectively. Everything that was on the previous incarnation of the site will return in time, but I'm going to begin with a drive to produce worksheets - I'd like to begin with a solid base there, and expand outwards subsequently.
